Founded in 1940, Motor Maids, Inc. currently has over 1360 members in Canada and the United States. Our district includes the provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Atlantic Canada Motor Maids hold monthly meetings and rides. The rides range from a few hours to a few days. Key ingredients in our get togethers are safe riding, promoting a positive image of motorcycling and supporting each other. Benefits are making great friends, memories, exploring, laughing and sharing pie.
The first Canadian district of Motor Maids was created in 1949. From that time until January 2007, women from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward, and Newfoundland and Labrador who joined Motor Maids were members of the Eastern Canada District. In January 2007, a second Canadian Motor Maid district was created by Motor Maid Executive, Atlantic Canada Motor Maids. Since its creation, the ACMM district grew from less than ten members to more than seventy by the time we celebrated our 10th anniversary in 2017.
