Do you ride your own motorcycle?
If the answer is “YES”, consider joining us. Membership is open to any woman who rides her own motorcycle or a motorcycle owned by a family member, and has a license with a motorcycle endorsement. You’re invited to share our history and ride with us into the future. In 1940, a handful of women joined together to form the first women’s riding organization in North America. Today, more than 1200 women motorcyclists from the United States and Canada are members of Motor Maids and ride for the sheer joy of riding, and to promote a positive image of motorcycling. Riding Events & Convention The Motor Maids are divided into Districts throughout the United States and Canada. Each District schedules riding events or meets throughout the year, varying from riding to lunch to weekend events to cross country rides. Many participate in charity events within their district and throughout the motorcycling community. An annual convention is held in various locations across the U.S. and Canada. Members renew friendships and share new riding adventures. Convention events: • A timed road run • Self guided tours of the area • A Motor Maid parade through the community • Lots of friends and conversation |
