Plan...In the words of our own Ann Savoy-MacKelvie, " Hey, we're Motor Maids. There is no such thing as just a ride. " And, to stand by her pegs, she has organized IFRD Ride for the Borders. Motor Maids from Nova Scotia will cross the border into New Brunswick, and meet up with Motor Maids from NB at Atlantic Motoplex in Dieppe for a BBQ. Then, they will ride across Confederation Bridge and cross the border into Prince Edward Island for fun, food and an overnight party in Charlottetown. Hopefully, many of the women from PEI who visited the ACMM booth at the Moncton Motorcycle Show last month will meet us. The afternoon ride will end in Charlottetown at Canada's Best Value Inn & Suites. Book a room and continue with the celebrations through the evening and night, and Ride for a Border again the next day.
The ride...And so, the women rode and had a grand time. Motor Maids from Nova Scotia crossed the border into New Brunswick, and met up with riders from NB at Atlantic Motoplex in Dieppe for a BBQ. Then, they rode across Confederation Bridge and crossed the border into Prince Edward Island for fun, food and an overnight party in Charlottetown. Women from other organizations and independent riders were also involved, with more than 50 women joining this women bikers' extravaganza! THANKS ANN ! IFRD 2013 photos
